| i'll post a journal entry. amanda inspired me this time.
i guess a lot has changed since december of 2005 (my last entry).
i'm moving to chicago in two weeks. less than that, actually. it's crazy. i'm going to school for advertising design. i never even thought i would go to school. i couldn't be more excited about anything right now... truly. it finally hit me on saturday night that i was leaving. i haven't really thought about it. i hadn't thought about the people i would miss... i knew i'd miss them, but the people and places i seek comfort in every day became really real to me. it is going to be a huge change...
chris is the only person i have said goodbye to so far. that was good. it helped with the whole closure thing. the feeling was mutual about seeing each other. both glad we did it and all.
everything in my life keeps falling into place. i am truly happy. i have the best friends i could ask for. the good ones, at least. i'm really glad i have amanda. i don't know what i'd do without her.. and a few others (courtney, erin, lee, shelby, nathan...and more).

| so i might as well just update the entire world on my life.
i probably don't even have friends on here anymore. ridiculous.
so it's summer. but not for much longer. and i think it's been a pretty good one (with a few exceptions). i went to california with the love of my life to see a boy who hates me. but trust me, it's cool. anyway. me and chris are really not together. we actually sneak around sometimes. but that is just between you and i. it's more fun this way. it's all exciting.
OH YEAH. guess what everyone? i decided to conform to society and go to college. i'm cool, right? i think so. so maybe i will go to NKU. but secretly i think chris and i should run away together and leave everyone. it would be super.
so during the break-up i did my best to have flings. they weren't that cool though. really i would be like "yeah this guy is awesome.....i like chris better" so that's how that went. really i just came to the realization (as i have about 30,000 times) that all boys are just dumb. that doesn't mean i don't like them. it just means they are dumb.
also, i went camping last night with some really awesome kids. they are some of the best i think. nick austin logan myles sean courtney erin....some of the best fa sho. except austin was being an ass. he said it was cuz he was tired. bulllllshit. it's cool though. because it was still fun. we played drunk charades and we all slept in cars. haha i know it doesn't sound fun. but it wasn't. and we started an unofficial breakfast club at 7:30am at mcdonalds this morning. we forgot to bring snacks camping. WHO DOES THAT? we did. so i honestly drempt about food ALL night. it was so silly. today i have eaten mcdonalds and ernesto's and now i'm going to eat chinese with my mom. i am obviously healthy.
so how is everyone? that's the real question...
i got this apartment. but now i'm moving out. and i'm moving back in with the mom. because i'm gonna go to school in the spring and it's the best idea. financially mostly.
and courtney and this boy nick (who is one of "the best") are the cutest things to ever have met each other. it's awesome. i'm happy for them both. YAY!!
okay so really. what is everyone DOING? how's summer? excited for school? telllll meeeee

| yeah i never use this thing.
but i thought i should go ahead and tell everyone that i'm finishing school soon. i'm doing e-school. [aka school online from the comfort of my home] it's for various reasons, not just because i hate eastern and most people in it. so that's what i'm doing. it's going to be great. and i'm still going to go to prom and i'll go watch everyone graduate haha.
AMAZING.
for everyone that knew chris and i broke up AGAIN on halloween we are back together again. haha--nice i know. it was funny when he said, "i'm glad we are back together for the third time."
so i'm done. i have to go to work.
and no, i'm not gonna be sitting home on my lazy ass when i do e-school. i'm gonna be working a lot. but it'll be great. and i'll have the money for cinci. and hope a lot of it for Aveda next fall. YAY.

school started the 17th. i actually like school this year. i'm a senior and i do whatever i want. haha i'm tough...
but i never have homework. and my classes are awesome. i love it.
i didn't go to school today. we had an excused absence to go to the fair. so i took advantage of it. i hung out with courtney and erin and we went to waffle house. yummmm. except now i feel like dying. blahh.
me and courtney are about to go to the mall. there is a hot guy at hot topic and we are going to go stalk him. yessss. oh yeah p.s. we are mallrats. i've been to the mall almost every day in the past couple of weeks. i just like it there. people probably think i have no life. and apparently, i don't. then we have to take my little sister to e-town. i bet the ride there will be fun. and then i bet the ride home will be hell. that is how it always is when we go on hour-long drives. just me and courtney [and my little sis] and the open road. haha yeah those highways. real open roads.
i just keep thinking about what i'm going to do when i graduate. where i'm going to live. when and where i will go to school. that kind of stuff. it's scary but exciting to think i'll actually be able to do what i want and pursue my so-called dreams.
i'm out like a fat kid in dodgeball.

last night was so fun. so so so fun. yay.
so katie got her braces off. and so me and courtney went and gave her candy and wrote her a note that said "happy brace day! we love you niiggggggaaaa!!" and it was amazing. and she called us the BEST FRIENDS EVER. we were excited.
and then we called our boyfriend chad. [we share him.] and we went and picked him up because he is carless. and he was wearing these crazy old people sunglasses. and we got a total tabloid picture of him [these will be up soon]. so we went to cherokee park to play on big rock. and there are like a millliiooonnn people there. and we were like "whats the deal? must be a church picnic." so we act like we are part of the church. and chad is yelling across the crowd and waving like a maniac.."Uncle Joe!! man.. i'm glad he made it." so we are sitting on this rock. and these kids are trying to climb up it. and me and chad get off the rock. and courtney is being raped by these 6 year olds trying to get up this rock. AWFUL experience. haha. also, chad pretended to know this boy [we found out his name was josh.] and it was funny. he talked to him for like 10 minutes like "yeah man you don't remember me?" awesome.
so then we go back to my house. but the whole way we listen to "splashdance" and "the dinosaurs" tapes. it was grrreat. so we get to my house and i remember: i have vampire teeth in my room. when me and chad were best friends forever and ever, i gave him vampire teeth that were hot pink. so i had green ones and orange ones so we wore them all night. it was entertaining. and so me and chad went to his house and took pictures of the haunted pool. and swung on his porch swing for like an hour. and talked about movies and when we used to hang out.
and now we will hang out all the time cuz he is my love. and he is one of the best guys i know. except he is crazy. but its cool.

| so i just got really excited about life this morning.
wait. first. i almost killed a squirrel on the way to work. it was sad. i stopped my car to make sure he was okay and he was. it made me happy.
okay back to being excited.
sometimes i just come to the realization that i have a lot of people who care about me. and that all of my friends - all of them - are the best friends i could ask for in some capacity or another. it's awesome. i'm working on being able to come back to shelbyville occasionally. i hope it works out. i miss all you kids.
anyway. i just got really excited about going back to school. i mean, what the hell? i am a SENIOR. its my LAST year. last year was so fun.. minus the classes. the classes are going to be AWESOME this year. because i am a seennniiooorrrr. i can do whatever i want. haha. and i hope we dress up like indians at the little ky derby pep rally this year. and i hope we theme them all. because our class has the most spirit. and its not even school spirit at all. its just spirit. i think that we are just all a bunch of really excited kids. hehe.
and i was really mad about work yesterday. and having to be here all day. but then i was thinking.. no one really does anything anyway during the day. and i'm making mad cash. and i still have my nights - those nights that i was complaining about yesterday that i never do anything. i do though. last night was so fun. [i should have pictures posted soon. i just got my new cammerrraaa!!]
me, courtney, erin, bryan, and tone went swimming. and it was so fun. and i talked to my new bffae phil. but we couldn't hang out because we both already had plans kind of. so courtney and i went up to schlotzskys. and i missed working there so much. i saw blake and i've never EVER been so excited to see him. or be at schlotzskys. yaaaaay. i am happy. officially. :)
THEN i went to bdubs with (deep breath in) courtney joel ian aaron bobby erin kyle shelby and lauren (some people came in shifts <3) and it was soo fun. hey did you guys end up stealing the lights? we tried to steal the lights. shelby and i had a dance party to biggie biggie biggie in the parking lot. it was pimp. and we just shared stories and had a good time. i looovvveeeddd it.
then i got to work this morning and arvin gave me a 128mb memory card for my camera. it was so exciting. and then my mom gave me a chocolate chip bagel with cream cheeessseeee. i am really happy today.

| i'm still not getting much sleep. i am through being angry. i'm just upset now. and i don't think about it until i get tired really. or when conversation sort of dies down. when i'm occupied, nothing hurts. courtney is feeling the same way. atleast i'm not going through this totally alone. i gave in. i called him last night. i just wanted to say hey. and see how his day was. i was really upset after i hung up. because i'm not exactly sure where we stand right now. and i want all of this to be over.
last night courtney and i went to ernesto's with shelby and matt. we were going to go to molly malone's with some kids but we didn't feel like it after a while. my dad is moving this month and so he is packing and stuff and he found all this totally awesome stuff from my childhood in boxes in his basement. anyway my mom gave me all these tapes and stuff. and one of them was like personalized for me. it was great. it was such a sefl-esteem tape. but it made courtney and i surprisingly happy. we went up to highland coffee with nathan, jamey, jesse, and jon. it was fun. we talked about a lot of stuff. like politics and drugs and why courtney and i were so happy. jesse was in a bad mood. he was being no fun at all.
i am hanging out with dan tonight. yay! we are going to smoke flavored cigarettes and discuss fashion. i can't wait. i think courtney is coming to. she has an awesome fashion book that we can all look at and fall in love over and over again with twiggy and audrey hepburn.
